Life with Good Friends
Over the weekend/ past week, I was able to catch up with a few of my best girlfriends over coffee and breakfast. As always, I walked away feeling refreshed and encouraged and reminded of just how thankful I am that the Lord chose to put them in my life when I moved back to Fayetteville a few years ago. We've been through quite a bit together, new jobs, layoffs, boyfriends, break-ups, weddings, long-distance moves, and new babies. We've a laughed a lot and cried together. A lot. I can always depend on these girls when I need someone to talk to and I trust them to tell me the truth: the good, the bad, and the ugly. Though we can't all often be together in the same room these days, I 'm so glad that we live in a world where we're only a phone call away.
Thanks for this pic Brookie!!

And one from this weekend! Shout out to Little Bread Co. My fave!!!

Northwest Arkansas Engagement: Seth & Meghan
Today I bring you Seth and Meghan's engagement session. These two drove from Stuttgart and I was so happy to meet them in person for the first time! It was a very chilly day, but I had a blast getting to know them and hearing their story of being high school sweethearts. Seth and Meghan, thanks so much for driving up to Fayetteville in the cold. I loved getting to know you guys and can't wait for your wedding. I know it will be just as sweet as you two are!

NAP + CUDDLE = NUDDLE
Move over Snuggie! I had to laugh out loud when I came across this ad the other day. I was browsing through some internet magazines and blogs and found the Nuddle Blanket. The Nuddle is essentially the upscale counterpart to the Snuggie and is the blanket of choice for celebrities such as Debra Messing, Lauren Conrad, and Tori Spelling. Featuring not only arm openings, but hand pouches and an enclosed foot pocket, the Nuddle might just be the perfect blanket to grab on these cold, snowy days. I certainly never imagined that this trend would catch on like it has. Maybe I need to hop on board. Of course, if Jennifer Aniston has to have the Nuddle, then I might just have to skip the Snuggie...

More from Spain: The Alhambra
Wow! Sorting through my pictures from Spain has been a bigger project than I thought. Today I wanted to show you pictures from the Alhambra, one of the major attractions we visited in Granada. This place is so amazing that it deserves a post all for itself! For anyone who is a history-geek like me, Alhambra means "the red fortress" and was built by Moorish rulers in the mid-14th century. This was later home to King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella and is thought to be the location where Christopher Colombus was commissioned to sail to the new land. You can check out more here if you're interested. I can't remember the significance of each picture and place, so I'll let you enjoy without further commentary from me!

A Week of Spain in Pictures: Culture
It's here! A week of Spain in pictures officially starts today! Over the next few days I'll be sharing glimpses of Spanish culture, sights, food, and experiences. I had an amazing time and, hopefully, through these pictures you can get a feel for being there.
Evelyn is the daughter of the family we stayed with. Here she is demonstrating how to properly dip your churro in chocolate. Best. Snacking. Ever.

Sunday afternoon at the park in Madrid. There are tons of amazing street performers.

Everyone hangs out in the streets on Sundays skating, biking, walking. They just enjoy being outside with their neighbors!

A cool-looking band (we assume) in the middle of a photoshoot. Probably for their really famous album cover. I am still pretty obsessed with what this girl was wearing.
