Featured in Arkansas Bride!!!

Hi everyone!

I'm so excited to share with you that photos by Kristin Hartness Photography are featured in the 2009 fall/winter issue of Arkansas Bride! One of the many things I love about this magazine is their attention to detail! They love to give brides lots of inspiration as they plan their weddings. From location, to local vendors, favors, food, and decorations, you can find it here!

Seeing photographs in print is a huge honor and thrill for any photographer, so obviously I am sooo excited for the release of this issue! Check out the "Real Weddings" featured in this issue to see pictures from Lacey and Donovan's October 2008 wedding and let me know what you think. Their reception was decorated with gorgeous fall colors located at the fabulous Botanical Garden of the Ozark's, one of my favorite wedding venues.

Have a great day!

Engagement Session: Carol and Chi

Hi everyone!

Meet Carol and Chi. This great couple drove down this past weekend from Tulsa to meet me for a 7am engagement shoot. They were great sports and, thanks to the tasty morning light, we got some amazing shots. Congratulations Carol and Chi, it was so great to meet you! I'm so excited for your wedding day!

Love, love, love this field!!!

Pretty sure it would be impossible to have a bad shot of these two - aren't they cute?!?!

Portland

Last month, I had the opportunity to visit Portland, Oregon with a group from Fellowship
Bible Church. Good friends Josh and Laurel moved to Portland last winter and are in getting settled into life and beginning stages of church planting. It was so fun to visit them and get to experience their life for a week. Portland is such a fun, funky city that has several strong similarities to Fayetteville. They have a  "Keep Portland Weird" motto, which rings familiar to Fayetteville's own "Keep Fayetteville Funky". When I think of Portland I think: eclectic, beautiful, spiritual, seeking, artsy, different, recycle, coffee, friendly, random. I love it!

Over 600 independent coffee shops - a small taste of heaven!
Flyer for our Laundry of Love service project. A night of free laundry and dinner for anyone who needs it!!
Alberta Street - where we spent the majority of our time. Lots of fun restaurants and shops!
A typical neighborhood sidewalk view - tons of flowers!
